The Tran Thuong Temple Luong Distribution Festival is one of the major festivals at the beginning of the year in Ha Nam province, held to commemorate the great merits of the national hero, the Duke of Temperance Hung Dao Dai King Tran Quoc Tuan. The festival is held right at the temple, where Hung Dao Dai King Tran Quoc Tuan chose to make 1 of 6 food warehouses, providing food for the army during the resistance war against the Nguyen Mong invaders in the thirteenth century.

The salary distribution ceremony is held at the sacred Rat hour to promote heritage, honor the grace of ancestors, remind descendants to forever light up patriotic traditions, protect rivers, unite and build a strong and rich country.
