The temple is located in Yen Lac village, Moc Nam commune, Duy Tien town, Ha Nam province. This sacred temple has existed for a long time. According to the divine genealogy, ordination and legend, this place worships the Three Water Gods of the 18th Hung King (Hung Due Vuong) - legend has it that they are the children of the Eight Sea Dragon King and Lady Quy. He was instrumental in fighting the enemy and keeping the country's borders peaceful. Besides, the temple also worships Princess Tien Dung - daughter of King Hung and Chu Dong Tu - one of the four immortal gods of the nation.
