Nha Xa silk weaving village, Moc Nam commune, Duy Tien district, has been famous for many generations. The founder of Nha Xa silk weaving was General Tran Khanh Du, a prominent general of the Tran Dynasty; He instructed Nha Xa people to pick up sweet fish from the Red River to raise, grow mulberries, raise silkworms and weave silk. The silk weaving profession of the Nha Xa people was established, preserved and passed down to today's generations. Nha Xa silk craft until the early years was still mainly done by hand. Nha Xa's textile products are of many types: silk, silk, long, tun, and many new products such as twine, silk thread, floral silk, linen... but the most famous are still silk and twine.
