Conference of promotion invesment for Ha Nam tourism development in 2024

On the morning of October 18, at the Provincial Center of Culture, the Provincial People's Committee organized a conference to promote investment in tourism development in 2024 with the theme "Ha Nam - Journey of connection".

In her opening speech, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Nam province Le Thi Thuy said: With rich tourism resources, Ha Nam has many advantages to develop attractive types of tourism. In the first 9 months of 2024, Ha Nam welcomed about 4.2 million visitors, total tourism revenue reached more than 3,200 billion VND. 

For two consecutive years 2023-2024, Ha Nam was honored by the World Travel Awards (WTA) as "World's Leading Local Cultural Destination" and "Top Emerging Tourist Destination" Asia".

At the conference, many researchers, tourism experts, domestic and foreign economic groups, tourism and travel businesses discussed solutions to develop Ha Nam into an attractive destination in the world. region, as well as attracting investment in the fields of accommodation, entertainment, resort tourism... 
To continue promoting tourism development, in addition to exploiting potentials and advantages, Ha Nam continues to organize investment promotion conferences and cultural and tourism activities. The 2024 Tourism Development Investment Promotion Conference with the theme "Ha Nam - A Journey of Connection" is one of the typical events of Ha Nam Culture - Tourism Week 2024. This is an opportunity for Ha Nam promote and introduce the potential, strengths, unique features, attractions, outstanding and unique values ​​of Ha Nam tourism and preferential policies to attract investment in the field of tourism to investors. private and internal tourists. Outside the country, we know the land and people of Ha Nam; thereby  attracting investors to research and invest in Ha Nam.  At the same time, through this conference, effectively promote resources, promote socialization, and expand links for tourism development; create favorable opportunities for tourism businesses to learn, exchange, promote, connect, and build suitable and attractive tours and travel routes to best serve tourists; so that more and more tourists come to Ha Nam, thereby helping the province achieve its goal of becoming one of the country's key tourism keys, contributing to economic restructuring, creating jobs, and increasing income for people, increase budget revenue, create motivation to promote other economic sectors of the province to develop together, building Ha Nam province to be increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ishikawa Isamu, Deputy Ambassador, Minister of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam expressed: Ha Nam province is striving to welcome 4 million tourists each year, including 490,000 international tourists. economy by 2025. We believe that Ha Nam province will achieve this goal. The Japanese Embassy in Vietnam is ready and willing to support Ha Nam province in reaching out to Japanese travel companies and tourism-related publishers...
Comrade Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Quoc Huy specifically answered each opinion of the delegates, and at the same time introduced more about the potential and strengths of Ha Nam tourism. In particular, Ha Nam is continuing to build transport infrastructure connecting highways; Along the routes, there are trees and water surfaces creating landscapes and check-in needs for tourists; increase investment resources to renovate spiritual works, form and develop high-quality agricultural tourism and craft villages; Focus on inviting investors to build high-class accommodation and high-quality sports, especially golf. Regarding night tourism, the Co-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the night walking street will be moved to Nguyen Van Linh Avenue (Lam Ha ward), where there will be a water music park, shopping area, cuisine and many services. other to serve the diverse needs of tourists…

At the conference, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation took place between Ha Nam province, Binh Dinh and Ha Giang provinces, corporations and businesses investing in the fields of economics and tourism, and the UNESCO Ha Noi Travel Club.
