Informing that the Famtrip and Discussion program are sideline activities of the Ha Nam Tourism Development Investment Promotion Conference 2025, Mr. Nguyen Duc Nguyen, Director of Ha Nam Tourism Promotion Center, emphasized the role of tourism as a spearhead economic sector , with great influence and contribution to socio-economic development.

“In the context of globalization, sustainable tourism development cannot lack the connection between the state, businesses and the media. It is this close coordination that helps form a complete service ecosystem, attract investment and position the destination brand,” Mr. Nguyen commented.

The weekend tourist market from Hanoi and neighboring areas is an opportunity for Ha Nam to develop short-term products, health tourism and experiences.

The province is actively implementing policies to attract investment in tourism, promote inter-regional cooperation and improve competitiveness. Promotion work is also focused on, creating a strong spread from events and typical products.

In particular, according to Mr. Nguyen, Tam Chuc tourist area - a prominent spiritual and ecological destination of Ha Nam has been planned to become a national tourist area. With a rich ecosystem, unique landscape and cultural and spiritual depth, Tam Chuc is a symbol of Ha Nam tourism, contributing to making the province an attractive destination on the Vietnam tourism map.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice President of Hanoi Unesco Travel Club (HUTC), said that Hanoi Unesco Travel Club is implementing a plan to establish a travel alliance to develop strategic tourism products, starting with the program "Ha Nam two days", expected to launch on weekends from now until the end of September. This model aims to build quality products, reasonable prices, and exploit domestic and international tourists more effectively.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice President of the Hanoi Unesco Travel Club, said that the club is implementing a plan to establish a travel alliance to develop strategic tourism products, starting with the "Ha Nam two-day" tour.

The alliance will be limited to about 20 core businesses, with many benefits from destinations such as Tam Chuc and partners in Ha Nam. All product information, schedules, and benefits will be sent to the general group after completion. He emphasized that this is an opportunity for real cooperation between businesses, not just stopping at surveys, but moving towards actual operations.

“The Unesco Hanoi Club is ready to act as a bridge between travel businesses and destinations to turn ideas into specific customer streams, contributing to the development of systematic, sustainable tourism products that bring long-term value,” Mr. Tuan Anh affirmed.

Regarding the information on the administrative merger of the three provinces of Ha Nam, Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh, from the perspective of a travel business, Mr. Nguyen Van Tai, CEO of VietSense Travel, commented that this is a reasonable step, helping to expand the development space, fully exploiting the potential of resources, especially tourism resources.

“If in the past each locality only had a few separate types of tourism, now when merged, this new land owns sea, forest, mountain, massive cultural heritage system - belief, creating conditions to form a diverse tourism ecosystem, from resorts, conferences, entertainment to spirituality, nature exploration”, Mr. Tai analyzed.

However, to promote that strength, the CEO of VietSense Travel believes that it is necessary to have a systematic product planning, avoid overlap, invest in synchronous infrastructure and build a new destination brand in a scientific and harmonious way, without bias, but still create its own identity. Areas with strengths in heritage and scenic spots such as Trang An - Cuc Phuong - Phat Diem need to be preserved and promoted, while areas with modern land funds and infrastructure such as Ha Nam can develop large-scale entertainment complexes and tourist cities.

“More importantly, the tourism apparatus after the merger must be restructured with a team of highly specialized professionals, capable of implementing modern promotion and communication, from branding to digital marketing, taking advantage of social networks, local groups, platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and websites to position the brand “New Ninh Binh”, Mr. Tai said.

The CEO of VietSense Travel also noted that the new province needs a clear financial mechanism : “Tourism revenue must be reinvested in promotion, conservation and operation, instead of just being used to offset the general budget. Only then can the unified tourism region develop sustainably and have clear competitiveness with other destinations across the country.”

The seminar “Tam Chuc - Tourism products in the saturated era” took place on the afternoon of May 29 at Tam Chuc Tourist Area.

Ha Nam is considered a locality with a favorable geographical location, quickly connecting with the capital Hanoi and the northern coastal provinces.
